Two of Scotland’s longest-standing creative agencies join forces to create unique agency model 

Creative and digital agency, LEWIS has acquired Tayburn in a six-figure cash and equity deal that will combine almost a century of creative and digital expertise.

This deal will bring together the industry’s best in branding, packaging, design, and digital to offer clients a creative partnership focused on today’s evolving business needs.

In coming together the two businesses will develop a unique agency model; where individual expertise is fostered, and clients can work directly with experts in the areas they need support.

Announcing the news, David LEWIS (CEO) said: “For the past year, we’ve been looking closely at the changes in the market and the evolving requirements of our client base. Following several strategic discussions, we are delighted to announce that we have acquired brand and design agency Tayburn.

“We want to be at the heart of every great business. This means offering a level of expertise and a unique approach that’s unparalleled in the industry. LEWIS and Tayburn have specific sets of skills that naturally complement one another, and we share a real belief in operating a people-led business that prioritises the long-term success and happiness of our clients.”

LEWIS (established in 1973) is a leading creative and digital agency, counting Santander, National Museums Scotland, Whyte & Mackay, and Scottish Power among its long-standing clients.

Tayburn (established in 1979) is regarded as one of Scotland’s and the UK’s strongest branding agencies across professional services, food and drink and FMCG. Its expertise lies in brand development and packaging for high-profile clients such as Heineken, Princes Foods, and Pet’s Choice.
