The Lyme Treatment Foundation is an international NPO founded in 2019 by Wendy Phillips after her own near-fatal battle with tick-borne illness. The Foundation awards testing and treatment grants to patients in the U.S., UK, Germany, and Canada, and funds research at the University of Oxford. To date, the Foundation has raised $900,000 in grant funds, helping patients across four countries access care they urgently need. Being named Specialist Medical NPO of the Year is an incredible honor.
