Our professional accredited team work to identify negative patterns of behaviour that could otherwise block or prevent clients in moving forward.
The Brain Injury Trauma Rehabilitation Service (TRS) run under the supervision of Glenda Roberts (MBACP) (Accred) (AIP), head of exploringU counselling. Who has been working in the field for nearly 29 years. The (TRS) are staffed by extremely dedicated professionals, who take pride in offering a safe environment for clients to develop and grow in confidence providing the highest standards of quality and care for clients with an (ABI) Acquired Brain Injury.
exploringU counselling also run an established Respite service for (ABI) Acquired Brain Injury clients to travel & holiday in the UK and aboard, this part of our organisation have experienced a multitude of knowledge in this area; risk assessing every activity; thus making respite for our clients an amazing experience all over the world.
exploringU counselling have written and developed their own (ABI) Acquired Brain Injury Training, throughout the year our specialised 2 day intense training course, offers a deeper understanding of the affects of a serious brain injury.
The exploringU centre for well-being is based in Sudbury, Suffolk it has been tastefully decorated to allow a multitude of Holistic Therapists to grow & develop their own businesses; exploringU counselling have satellite centres in: Harold Wood Essex, Colchester Essex, Saffron Walden Essex.
Every year the exploringU team enjoy raising awareness and money for various charities, this is a big part of their work, in the past they have raised money for: Headway Essex, Headway Cambridgeshire, Headway Ipswich & Suffolk, Brake The Road Safety Charity, MacMillian Cancer, East Anglia Children’s Hospice; this August they will be hiring a large farm to have a community fate in aid of raising money for Arrans smile Charity, (Cancer Research UK) they hope to raise lots of money.for another worthy cause.
