Touchlab is changing this by manufacturing an e-skin system, thinner than human skin, which can be wrapped around hard or soft robots to sense pressure, location, and direction in real-time. We are applying it to grand challenges including dexterous grasping automation, healthcare, and nuclear decommissioning. We are also proud to be a finalist in the global $10m ANA Avatar XPrize competition.</p>
