The Mare and Foal Sanctuary is a South West-based charity dedicated to improving the lives of horses, ponies and people through rescue, specialist care and training, rehoming and education. Founded in 1988, it supports more than 550 equines at four sanctuary sites in Devon and through a network of expert carers. It offers lifelong sanctuary, no-shame welfare advice and therapeutic equine assisted learning. It practices responsible land management that benefits horses, people and nature.
