The Microinsurance Network (MiN) began in 2002 as a CGAP Working Group on Microinsurance. It became an independent non-profit in 2012, supported by Luxembourg and partners. Over time, it built a global membership, produced key research, and organised the ICII, establishing itself as a leading platform for inclusive insurance. The mission of MiN is to facilitate knowledge exchange and connections that promote effective risk management, including inclusive insurance, for underserved populations.
