Hunger Relief Africa (HRA) has been named the recipient of the Rising Humanitarian Innovator Excellence Award 2026 by Acquisition International. Headquartered in Kampala, Uganda, HRA is an African-led organization dedicated to tackling hunger, malnutrition, poverty, and vulnerability through sustainable, community-driven solutions. In 2024 alone, HRA reached over one million people, supported 5,000 pregnant women to access antenatal care, trained 2,500 smallholder farmers, among others.
