Eastbourne Blind Society is a long‑established local charity, founded in 1923. From just 8 members it has grown and is now supporting over 500 visually impaired people in Eastbourne with more than 30 staff and volunteers. We provide a range of free services & activities to individuals whose sight cannot be corrected by glasses or lenses. Membership is open to all visually impaired residents of Eastbourne. Our focus is reducing loneliness, promoting independence & improving quality of life.
