Best of the Best in Infrastructure

3GC Group is a Value Added Reseller, systems integrator and managed services provider of converged networks IT infrastructure for mid enterprises. We provide design, project management, implementation and on-going managed services. We specialise in WAN/ LAN optimisation, WiFi, Firewall, Unified Communication and Converged Electronic Physical Security infrastructure.

GC strives to provide the latest converged technology solutions that align with our client’s goal and objectives to enhance their capabilities. We start with understanding our client’s business needs, including systems based and operational workflows, and then design the IT infrastructure to ensure it will optimise those workflows. We design closely with the CIO and systems management teams of mid enterprise making sure all the business applications flow efficiently across all users of the network. With streaming applications converging on IP networks like voice and video, we specialise in making sure these applications flow harmoniously with the rest of the traditional IT applications as well as evolving cloud based applications.

Standing out from the competition
Most VAR’s are either simply hardware resellers or are engineering VARs laser focused around specific technologies without the requisite network understanding to ensure fully implement a solution on a complex network. 3GC Group has taken a new approach. Each of our engineers is certified and experienced in at least three areas of expertise, one of which is always related to networking infrastructure which we call E-Cubed Every solution 3GC provides, from UC to physical security, includes expertise in network infrastructure, dramatically improving implementation quality. 3GC’s clients see a 50% reduction in project management time, troubleshooting time and ongoing management.

• Challenge: With limited IT staff and growing 500 employee operations, BMP needed
to find a way to support the growing IT infrastructure needs. BMP needed a company that is an expert in all IT infrastructure from network LAN/ WAN, UC, and Network Security.
• Solution: 3GC helped redesign BMP’s LAN/ WAN, firewall and UC infrastructure then put together a comprehensive managed services model to provide SLA based management of the entire IT infrastructure augmenting BMP’s onsite helpdesk staff.

Crothall Healthcare
• Challenge: With the construction of a brand new 80,000 square foot industry leading laundry facility, Crothall faced a variety of challenges in simultaneously working with construction companies as well a full suite of phone, data, and telecom services. The challenge was in implementing data, voice, telecom, and electronic physical security concurrently alongside construction of the concrete warehouse, laundry machinery, ceiling rails, plumbing, power, lighting, generators, and parking facilities.

• Solution: 3GC has incorporated multiple technologies in order to bring together a seamless unified solution for Crothall. It involved implementing the core network, Converged Physical Electronic Security (CEPS) and Unified Communications. We worked in collaboration with the general contractor to ensure all work was completed in a timely manner. It was an elaborate end to end converged networking project using multiple technology solutions to run seamlessly together.

Infrastructure challenges and opportunities
3GC discovered early on, in the process of growing with our mid-enterprise clients, the importance of providing support across a broad geographic area. Headquartered in Los Angeles, 3GC has broad coverage along both coasts, the mid-west, and internationally in Korea and Japan. 3GC has also cultivated ties with like-minded VARs in the EMEA regions, to provide unified services spanning the 5 continents.

The company’s future
The core values of 3GC is centered around the E-Cubed philosophy, and providing both consultative and quality support to the clients. Not everyone buys into this philosophy, and finding the right engineers, the right sales people, the right marketing staff, who understand and are passionate about this philosophy has always been, and will continue to be one of the challenges 3GC faces.
