Generational Equity, a leading mergers and acquisitions advisor for privately-held, middle-market businesses, is pleased to announce the acquisition of its client, The HR Group Inc. headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina, by JER HR Consulting LLC, headquartered in New York City, New York. The acquisition closed on February 3, 2016.

The HR Group Inc. provides customized human resource support and consulting services to a variety of organizations, including Fortune 500 Companies. The HR Group Inc. has experienced HR consults who assist clients with critical human resource functions including recruiting, training and HR support services.

Managing Director Don Sawyer and his team, including Vice President Mark Breheny and Affiliate Genell Boyer, led the Generational Equity deal team that advised The HR Group Inc. on the transaction. “JER HR Consulting saw the opportunity for strategic growth in merging with The HR Group. This alliance gives both parties the ability to provide end-to-end HR services for their clients nationwide,” stated Genell.
