Having worked for Eskom and served at the Association of Municipal Electricity Utilities, Yolanda leveraged her extensive experience in the field to establish Divaine Growth Solutions almost a decade ago, a company focused on clean and affordable energy, innovative manufacturing, deployment of electric vehicle and charging station as well as driving gender equality. She was inspired by an ambitious vision: to implement sustainable development goals that would drive the global economy forward through transformation, innovation, and improving lives across the world. To realise this vision, Divaine Growth Solutions has since been working to address the underlying economic issues that are key to driving the growth of Africa and promoting sustainability within the energy sector. Ultimately, its goals are to create access to clean and affordable energy, support the energy transition by facilitating investment opportunities for African infrastructure projects. Divaine Growth Solutions offers several services to its clients, who primarily operate across the sectors of energy, mining, education, manufacturing and agriculture. In collaboration with international partners, the company has embarked on manufacturing solar panels using sand and silicon. It then supplies and installs these solar panels, primarily focusing on the commercial and industrial markets. Through this, it accomplishes its goal of providing access to clean and affordable energy, whilst also serving as an Independent Power Producer (IPP) to lessen the load on the national grid.
