Her work has seen her working alongside elite creators. Named in the Influential Businesswoman Awards 2023 for her success, we caught up with Zoe to find out more. Apr23381 oe Hill felt great achievement when she was hired by Arcade Media and embarked on her new journey in her professional career. Since the start of 2023, she has made a name for herself as an industry leading figure, one unafraid to stand apart from the crowd and push the boundaries of what entertainment administration means. In her position as Chief of Staff, she has been able to support the team grow into a formidable force in the industry. Zoe’s career began in the Finance industry where she was a Senior Executive Assistant / Senior Assistant Supervisor. Here, she found out who she was as a professional individual, find out her true career calling as well as understand and explore her skillset to name but a few things. “Whatever pieces of work I could get my hands on I would take with open arms and give it my best shot, always asking for constructive feedback along the way,” Zoe explains. “The thought process was that if I took on as many varied tasks as I could, without allowing myself to burnout, I would be able to build and generate new skillsets thus being able to open up possibilities for the future.” This clearly led to great things for she was soon promoted to the role of Admin Supervisor where responsibilities really began. Here she learned her love of networking that has proven to be so important in her new role at Arcade Media. This management and ventures company for elite creators has created an environment which has been hugely rewarding for Zoe and allowed her to flourish. Since rising to the top of the industry, Zoe has encouraged other women looking to succeed to find their confidence whether that is people or power-dressing. “You want to put on a good suit and heels, then do that,” she says with a smile. “You do you. It certainly makes me feel confident. She has built a network that is second to none because “networking is everything. I will talk about networking to anyone and everyone. It is the biggest thing you can do for your career. Get yourself known and out there. If you don’t know where to start then ask a colleague, your boss, your mentor, this is also your welcome note to reach out to me.” Finally, and most importantly, Zoe advises not to take on the world. “Stop taking on more than you can chew,” she says. “Be a yes person, I certainly am, but you must conduct boundaries. You should be rewarded for the content of what you are delivering on a daily basis. Working until 9pm and beyond every day presents an upcoming burnout. That is no good to yourself or to the business.” Thanks to these pieces of advice, Zoe has built a network of trust that will never fail. With success behind her, we look back to where it all began for Zoe. “When I started out in the Finance Industry I had zero experience and had to rely heavily on someone letting me get my foot in the door,” she Z Best Entertainment Administration Leader 2023 (London): Zoe Hill tells us. “It’s hard work getting someone to give you an opportunity when they haven’t trialled before they’ve bought. So part of my focus to provide support has been in this area, helping others with minimal to no experience find the right role for them.” Determined not to pull the ladder up behind her, we wish Zoe every success in the months and years to come!
