Prior to joining the :hiperstream team as CFO & COO for Latin America in 2018, Giuliano’s first experience in the field was at Dentsu Aegis Network in 2009. As the LatAm CFO, his primary responsibility was overseeing the Administration and Financial department, including the Legal and M&A, for 18 markets across the region. Having joined Dentsu a year prior as their Compliance Manager, Giuliano quickly rose in the company and was promoted from Controller to CFO within just 14 months. However, before working at Dentsu, Giuliano had spent five years as a Senior Auditor where he audited listed and unlisted companies in a number of segments, whilst focusing on internal controls, SOX compliance, corporate governance, due diligence and M&A. When reflecting on what his previous roles taught him, Giuliano touches on how his experience helped him in his current position. “Both my previous experience, as CFO and time working at one of the “Big Four” firms, helped me broaden my strengths in internal controls and governance, which was put to the test as soon as I joined Established to support other companies’ digital transformation, :hiperstream is a global technology company helps businesses to create a stronger communication network with their customers. With the tech industry constantly developing, it brings forward new challenges to overcome. Bringing the interview to a close, Giuliano signs off by revealing what these challenges mean, and what he hopes the future holds for both himself and :hiperstream. “These challenges motivate me to work and to learn more every day, the dynamic, potential and changes are very special in the tech industry.
