2 Acquisition International - Issue 6 2021 From our Editor Welcome to the June edition of Acquisition International Magazine, bringing you the latest news, features, and success stories from businesses all over the world. After months of restrictions imposed around the world as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, it is with much anticipation that we are able to look ahead to the reopening of borders and a resurgence of business activity. However, at this crucial turning point, it would be prudent to reflect on all that we have learnt over the eighteen months since the virus first hit headlines; to consider all that we have missed, as well as all the features of lockdown life we might want to carry forth as we return to normality. Chief among those features is the rise of the working-from-home phenomenon which has engendered many benefits, including the positive consequences that we have seen for our environment. While sustainability has been a core objective of many for several years, it is during the pandemic that we have truly seen tangible results of responsible changes to our working habits. In this issue’s cover story, we speak to champion of environmentally-responsible business solutions, Connie Linder, CEO and Founder of Intengine. With sustainability at its core, Intengine - like all of the businesses featured within - is driving innovation forwards, having used the last year to build momentum for the reopening of the global stage.
