The last few years have been particularly stressful for many employees, and the post-COVID bounce back has caused labour shortages and high rates of staff turnover. This has led employers to concentrate on their employee experience (EX), and Protostar has helped to both measure it and drive improvements. W At the root of Protostar’s success in designing effective employee surveys, is psychology, whether that be in designing the communications that announce the survey is coming, or the careful crafting of each question. Protostar’s Managing Director Michael Coates first published a book on organisational psychology back in 2000, and now, as well as running Enhancing the Employee Experience For the second year, Protostar’s consultants have proven that they can help organisations to assess the mood of their employees and use data to recommend meaningful actions.
