Sarah’s standalone brick-and-mortar studio is the only one in northern Michigan that is exclusively boudoir. She and her all-female team have a seamless process to get clients’ hair, makeup, and attitude in alignment with the boudoir shoot of their dreams. They will work with the client to create a boudoir experience and photos that will forever lift them up. Sarah and her team know that boudoir can seem intimidating. But it only has to be as revealing as you want it to be. Doing a boudoir session doesn’t mean you have to “get naked” – but you can if they want to! Your boudoir session is for you. These photos showcase a side of you that is more often than not quite private. And posing nude in front of someone you barely know can be anxiety inducing – but Sarah and her team are professionals and will be sure to do all they can to make you feel comfortable. They are there to encourage you and guide you through the process. Prior to your session, Sarah will have a chat with you in-person or by phone call to discuss your vision for the session and for you to let her know if there is a specific vibe you are looking to go for. If you want your skin more covered up, Sarah will support you. She can help you style some button-downs, sports jerseys, or cosy sweaters so you feel covered yet sexy and confident. If you want to go down the lingerie route, she can recommend some places for you to look and can assist in coordinating accessories. If you want to be completely nude, draped only in a sheet, this is completely supported, too! If you are leaning towards doing completely nude photos but are feeling hesitant because it’s out of your comfort zone, Sarah encourages you to take the leap. She has clients come into her studio who are nervous and apprehensive about it, but she wants to encourage you and foster a safe space for you to feel comfortable being your authentic self.
