Integrity is the very essence of our own brand; we just get things done!” Understanding a business prior to undertaking a new project is vital and as Steve confirms this enables the agency to get a true understanding of the company’s values and objectives. “Research plays a huge role in our business strategy, as we really try to get to the heart of the business that we're working with. We Founded in 2014, Grey Pocket is an innovative creative and branding agency with offices across the UK. Following their success in the Business Excellence Awards 2020, we got in touch with Steve Winters to find out more. Most Innovative Brand Design Agency 2020 - London S aim to complement what they already have but also help them to see things from another perspective, so they are able to implement better practices throughout the business. “Rather than an external agency, we see ourselves as an extra team member when we work with clients and that has helped us build long standing partnerships. Having said that, the fact that we are an outside agency gives us the ability to see our client’s business from an objective perspective. Moreover, we often find they can be too close to it to see themselves from a consumer's point of view.” Currently, with the global COVID19 pandemic many are unsure of how their business will be affected going forwards. However, as Steve goes on to explain, Grey Pocket will be looking to demonstrate their strengths as they look to navigate through an unchartered territory. “With the recent outbreak of COVID19, it’s difficult to predict the ways in which our industry will be affected, but we pride ourselves on our tenacity and ability to adapt. Our relationships with both clients and suppliers look set to be stronger because of our common goal to get through this. We’ve been focusing on crisis management and long-term planning with some of our clients, and we are looking forward to getting back to some sort of normality, where we can learn and grow from this experience.” As a small business, teamwork is the buzzword when it comes to describing the company culture in place, and as Steve goes on to explain by establishing this key value it helps create a fun working environment. He added “It’s got to be fun and fortunately everyone we work with is similarly motivated.
