PK Network began by creating marketing strategy, advertising, promotion, digital and public relations campaigns for three of the world’s then top 10 largest media companies: ABC, Bertelsmann Music Group and PolyGram. Pat explores how she came to create the agency and drive it to success using her exceptional market experience. “In the beginning I founded the agency after a diversified career in the media business which started in an entry level position in Guest Relations at NBC. I quickly moved up the marketing ladder making strategic choices to join A&E, Showtime and Lifetime - all within 10 years. It was by taking a chance to leave the established broadcast arena at NBC and enter a new industry at that time, cable television, that I was able gain more responsibilities, hone - in on my marketing acumen and start the climb up the management ladder. These multiple and early career moves taught me that one needed to take calculated risks to achieve goals; that it was important to always think of the next move, and that opportunity doesn't knock, you need to make it happen.” With the explosion of technology impacting the entertainment field, PK Network quickly expanded, promoting broadband and tech clients PPC, ConTec and Mediacom Communications, which is still a primary client after 25 years.
